The right marquee size will depend on your guest numbers, event style and what you would like to include inside the marquee. When recommending a size, we consider:
Available space: The size, access and layout of the area where the marquee will be installed.
Guest numbers: The approximate number of guests attending your event.
Event style: Whether you're planning a seated reception, cocktail-style event or a combination of both.
Furniture and layout: Your preferred table and seating arrangement, as well as space for lounges, bars or other furniture.
Dance floor: If you're including a dance floor, we'll allow adequate space around it for guests to move comfortably.
Catering: Some caterers require a dedicated preparation or service area within the marquee, so it's worth confirming their requirements.
Every event is different, so our capacities are a general guide only. If you're unsure which size you need, send us your guest numbers and a few details about your event and we can recommend the most suitable marquee size.

A reasonably flat and level surface is important for the safe installation and overall appearance of your marquee.
Small variations in the ground can often be accommodated, but significant slopes or uneven areas may require additional planning or flooring.
If you're unsure whether your site is suitable, send us some photos or a video and our team can assess the area. For more complex sites, we may recommend a site inspection.
-
Our marquees are securely anchored using either 900mm pegs, weights, or a combination of both, depending on the installation surface and site conditions.
For grass installations, pegging is generally our preferred method. Before installation, it is important to identify any underground services such as water, gas, electricity or irrigation within the installation area.
Where pegging isn't possible, such as on concrete or where underground services are present, the marquee can be secured using weights.
Our weights are covered to provide a clean and professional finish around the marquee.
-
Yes, when required. Many installations can be planned using detailed photos, measurements and video, so a site inspection isn't always necessary.
For larger marquees, difficult access, sloping sites or more complex installations, we may recommend an on-site inspection.
Site inspections are generally arranged once a booking and deposit have been received. Any necessary adjustments to the marquee or installation requirements can then be made following the inspection.
