1. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions:
The Table Station means The Table Station Pty Ltd.
Hirer means the individual or organisation hiring equipment from The Table Station.
Equipment includes all furniture, marquees, lighting, décor, tableware and accessories supplied by The Table Station.
Hire Period means the period from delivery or collection until the agreed return or collection time.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit or proceeding with a booking, the Hirer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once the required deposit has been received.
3. Quotations
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless specified.
Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry.
Changes to quantities, delivery locations, access or installation requirements may result in revised pricing.
4. Bookings & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event.
Bookings made within 14 days require payment in full.
Custom or special-order items must be paid in full when ordered.
We accept bank transfer and credit card payments (credit card surcharge applies).
The Table Station reserves the right to withhold delivery or cancel a booking where payment has not been received by the due date.
5. Cancellations & Changes
We understand plans can change.
The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 4 weeks before the event will forfeit the deposit, with any additional payments refunded.
Cancellations or reductions made within 14 days of the event may incur up to 100% of the hire fee.
Changes to quantities or delivery details within 14 days cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
Date changes are subject to availability.
Wet weather is not considered grounds for cancellation.
Where a refund is approved at our discretion, a $50 administration fee may apply.
6. Hire Period
The Hire Period begins upon delivery or collection and ends when all equipment has been collected or returned.
Equipment must be available for collection at the agreed time. Additional hire charges may apply where collection is delayed.
7. Delivery, Access & Installation
The Hirer must provide:
Safe and unobstructed access
Accurate site information
Suitable parking
A clear installation area
Any undisclosed stairs, long carry distances, restricted access or difficult site conditions may incur additional labour charges.
8. Care of Equipment
All equipment remains the property of The Table Station.
The Hirer is responsible for the equipment throughout the Hire Period and must ensure it is:
Used safely and only for its intended purpose
Protected from theft and vandalism
Protected from rain and adverse weather
Stored undercover when not in use
Furniture, rugs and upholstered items must never be left outside overnight or exposed to rain.
9. Loss, Damage & Cleaning
The Hirer is responsible for any equipment that is:
Lost
Stolen
Broken
Damaged
Returned excessively dirty
Where possible, equipment will be professionally cleaned or repaired before replacement costs are charged.
Examples include:
Red wine stains
Wax
Paint
Cigarette burns
Water damage
Structural damage
Missing components
10. Replacement & Repair Charges
Replacement values below are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on supplier costs.

Normal wear and tear is expected and will not incur charges.
11. Marquees
Where marquee installation is included:
Ground conditions must be suitable.
Pegged marquees require approximately 900mm penetration.
Underground services must be identified by the Hirer.
Where pegging isn't possible, weighted installation will be required.
Marquees must not be moved or altered after installation.
The Table Station accepts no responsibility for damage to underground services that have not been disclosed.
12. Weather
Outdoor events carry inherent weather risks.
The Table Station cannot be held responsible for adverse weather conditions or their effect on your event.
We strongly recommend all outdoor events have an appropriate wet weather contingency plan.
13. Liability
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the safe use of all hired equipment throughout the Hire Period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Table Station accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from:
Improper use of equipment
Third-party interference
Theft or vandalism
Weather-related events
Indirect or consequential losses
Our liability is limited to the value of the hire contract.
14. Security Bond
A security bond may be required depending on the size and nature of the booking.
Where applicable, repair, cleaning or replacement costs may be deducted before any remaining balance is refunded.
15. Variations
Changes to delivery times, locations, installation requirements or confirmed hire items may result in additional charges.
16. Force Majeure
The Table Station shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, industrial action, transport disruptions, government restrictions or other force majeure events.
